Django Unchained

Director: Quentin Tarantino

5 out of 5

Well written, well acted, great composition. I loved every second of this film!

Synopsis: With the help of a German bounty hunter, a freed slave sets out to rescue his wife from a brutal Mississippi plantation owner.

:::::NOTE:::::

For some time after watching this it was all I could talk about! I would love to be able to rate this higher.. 5+ maybe.. But I just cannot as it would mess with my other rating, At the moment I feel like I could watching this film over and over again and get the same enjoyment.. Tarantino has created yet another classic!

Lay the Favorite 2012

Director: Stephen Frears

Hard to get into at first but had a decent ending.

Synopsis: Beth, a Las Vegas cocktail waitress, falls in with Dink, a sports gambler who swoons for her as she proves to be something of a gambling prodigy, earning the initial ire of Dink’s wife, Tulip.

::::::::NOTES::::::::

From the cover this looks like a chick-flick so I sat down to watch it with my wife. She lost interest in the first thirty minutes and we turned it off. I could not leave a film unfinished so went back and watched the rest on my own. It got better towards the end as mentioned above. I would not recommend this film.
